Job description: The Biomedical Genomics Group (http://bg.upf.edu) is settled in the Research Unit on Biomedical Informatics (GRIB) (http://grib.imim.es), a joint unit of the IMIM-Hospital del Mar and the University Pompeu Fabra, which is located at the PRBB, Barcelona. The main line of research in our group is the integration of genomic data for the study of cancer and other genetic diseases. This position is immediately available for enthusiastic and highly motivated postdocs wanting to be part of Biomedical Genomics Group and work in a multidisciplinary project related to oncogenomics and personalized medicine. The successful applicants will join a team of international researchers based at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park in downtown Barcelona, which is located on the sea-front of Mediterranean.

Qualifications and experience:
It is required:
• PhD.
• Experience in bioinformatics and/or cancer biology.
• Motivation and passion for scientific research.
• Good communication skills and Good in English.

Contract: Full-time position, available on a fixed-term basis for two years with the possibility of extension. Competitive salary according to profile and previous
experience.
