Mission:
The node of Málaga University is responsible for design, development and installation of the integration architecture for services, data and computational resources of INB. For this reason, the node has defined the standards necessary for the development, description and interoperability of the services and has an ontology committee to support the curation of the biological entities that can be used as data by web services.
This architecture addresses the generic problem of integration in bioinformatics with respect to service coherency, stability, ownership and data persistence, access control, optimal distribution of computational resources and facilitation of biological information exploitation. |
